I always knew I wanted to be involved in jewellery and fashion but my professional life was based in finance and accounting which was so far removed from the creative side I had always wanted to explore that I never really thought it would be possible to follow this path.
That was until 2 years ago when I started looking at the possibilities through completely different eyes.
The internet gave me the ability to search for products and components and to also research what was popular, new trends and materials.
It enabled contact with suppliers that in the days before the internet were next to impossible to find without out the right contacts or business networks.
Opening doors and rekindling my creativity, the internet has allowed me to explore and to finally realise a dream of making my own creations and running a jewellery business.
That being said it was not all smooth sailing there were a number of things that knowing what I know now I would have definitely done differently and these I will share with you.
